Annual Athletic Meet Organised At Shri Ram Global School With Enthusiasm And Spirit

Ludhiana, Punjab – Shri Ram Global School, South City Ludhiana successfully held its Annual Athletic Meet on November 23, 2024, in the school playground. The event was a resounding success, bringing together students, families and esteemed guests for a day filled with excitement and camaraderie.

Sukhpal Singh Brar Arjun Awardee and IPS officer was the chief guest of the athletic meet. The festivities began with a Grand march past by showcasing the enthusiasm and dedication of students. Following this, participants took part in an Oath-taking ceremony that emphasized the values of integrity and fair play.

The opening ceremony featured a flag hosting, symbolizing unity and pride within our community.

The athletic meet witnessed great level of hard work, determination and zeal. Students of all grades starting from Pre-primary to Grade 5 participated in hurdle races, 100m, 200m, relay races and long jump. Mr Sukhpal Singh Brar in his message to the young athletes told them to be disciplined and practice hard to achieve the desired goals. He said it’s the hard work with which they can win and not the luck. Principal Gurpreet Kaur Chandok emphasized on dedication and endurance to attain the heights in all fields of life. The management of school thanked the parents and the guests for gracing the occasion.

The winners of various races were: Class FY ZIG ZAG FUN RACE (Vyansh – 1st , Karman – IInd, Khamish, Daksh – IIIrd); DRESS ME UP RACE (Kiaan – 1st , Hardik – IInd, Harsh – IIIrd); BAG PACK RACE (Viraj Kanda – 1st , Advait – IInd, Dharvi – IIIrd); FUN BASKET RACE (Kriansh – 1st , Udish – IInd, Abhiuday – IIIrd); BACK TO BACK BALL BALANCING (Lavika, Samreen – 1st , Sharvin, Uday – IInd, Shivam, Roshan – IIIrd) ;Overall BEST HOUSE-Sushruta; RELAY RACE winners: Boys- Aryabhatta House (Maurya Sapra, Pranav, Shivansh, Saksham); Girls Aryabhatta House (Radhya, Asmairya, Sumaira, Divita)
